This toolkit provides advice on how to apply universal design across premises and programs in order to promote access for all. It is divided into seven sections:
- Advocacy for Accessibility
- Programme-related Buildings
- Accessibility in Emergencies
- UNICEF and United Nations Premises
- Accessibility Assessments
- Organisation of Accessible Events
- Accessibility Checklists
Although the toolkit is primary for UNICEF employees, operations focal points, and program colleagues involved in construction, it is also useful for UNICEF partners, organisations of people with disabilities, and other stakeholders.
