Argawal, A. & Steele, A. (2016) Disability considerations for infrastructure programmes

This study was undertaken to provide DFID (now FCDO) infrastructure advisors with a reference document that identifies and summarises robust evidence and makes recommendations on how to incorporate disability considerations into all aspects of infrastructure projects. The study aims to help minimise barriers in infrastructure and improve access for people with disabilities, enabling them to participate fully in social and economic life.
