Women and girls with disabilities in the Pacific face compounded marginalisation due to disability, gender norms, low educational opportunities, stigma, and exclusion. This report examines the extent to which mainstream gender programs and stakeholders are including diverse women and girls with disabilities within their gender programs, frameworks, policies and practices.

The mapping finds that while there is increasing awareness of the additional marginalisation of women and girls with disabilities, they continue to experience exclusion from gender programming. The report provides 13 practical recommendations to strengthen inclusion of women and girls with disabilities.
