United Nations Timor-Leste (2018) Leaving No Youth Behind in Timor-Leste Policy Brief #5: Young People with a Disability

This policy brief aims to determine the situation of young people with disabilities in Timor-Leste and the barriers they face through analysis of the 2015 Timor-Leste Census data, information gathered from Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) in Dili, and evidence from relevant studies and reports published by organisations of people with disabilities and other relevant institutions. It is part of a series of policy briefs that present a situation analysis based on quantitative data from an independent analysis of the 2015 Timor-Leste Census and qualitative data from FGDs, as well as supporting evidence from studies and reports conducted in Timor-Leste.
