The Priority Assistive Products List (APL) was introduced by the World Health Organization (WHO) to improve access to high-quality, affordable assistive products in all countries as part of the Global Cooperation on Assistive Technology (GATE), a global commitment to improving access to assistive products.

The aim of the APL is to provide WHO Member States with a model from which to develop a national priority assistive products list according to national need and available resources. It can also be used to guide product development, production, service delivery, market-shaping, procurement, and reimbursement policies.
