
Accessibility is a prerequisite for achieving sustainable, climate-resilient WASH infrastructure, services, information and communication for all. To achieve their rights to WASH and whole-of-community climate resilience, people with disabilities must be explicitly included from the outset, and universal accessibility promoted, measured and monitored.
This brief shares lessons on advancing accessibility in WASH services and systems, drawn from the experience of Water for Women partners across Asia-Pacific during the past seven years.
